The fact that this home sits on a corner lot further off the road than many homes in the neighborhood made choosing the appropriate landscaping a necessity in creating the best visual impact possible.

Furthermore, the layout of the home and it's relative placement from the walkway created large planting beds and caused visual breaks around the home not allowing the home to be viewed in it's entirety. Therefore, special consideration in the layout of the plant material was also necessary, so not to loose any part of the landscape as well as visually balance the home.

As a result, large groupings of the same type of plant were layered around the foundation, producing large blocks of colors and varying textures which allowed your eye to flow around the entire home, not necessarily focusing on one point or another.
