As with many newly constructed areas left bare, erosion and drainage issues needed to quickly be addressed alongside this new swimming pool.

By the use of stone terracing the slope's drainage and erosion issues were solved while still blending in with the natural stone work found around the home and the newly constructed columns around the outdoor kitchen.

The plant material chosen was a mix of soft textures and balance of red, purple, yellow and white to compliment the outdoor kitchen and home's brick red facade while still reflecting the homeowner's bold taste in color and complimenting the existing landscape.

This combination of stone terracing and plant material resulted in the privacy, curb appeal, and erosion control my client and I set out to accomplish.
