The softer, farmhouse feel of this newly constructed home clearly stood apart from the numerous brick homes surrounding it.

The client and I focused from the beginning on creating a unique look that reflected the style of the home and did not fall into the standard foundation plantings that so many newly constructed homes become victim to.

Her love for soft purples, yellows, and pinks were brought out in the plant material chosen, as well as, her appreciation for colorful meadows.

This home could have easily become one of many homes in a neighborhood that looked the same, but instead we chose to break away from the norm and found ourselves using garden type plantings along the foundation of the home which gave it a soft, colorful, welcoming and inviting new look.
